How can I watch Luna?
Unfortunately the deadline has now passed to watch Luna online. However, we plan to do future online showings, which can be watched by anyone with a ticket (including those that bought a ticket the first time around). Follow us on social media for updates!
When will I be able to purchase tickets to watch online?
Tickets will be made available again when we announce the next online showing

Will this version go up on YouTube eventually?
In the distant future perhaps, but for now, we want it to be available online only to those people who have supported Luna by purchasing a ticket!
Will the online performance be captioned?
Yes! The video has closed captioning, which has been pre-typed!

ABOUT
Set in present-day North Dakota, Luna follows the journey of a pregnant teen as she, and the characters in her life, challenge and explore their identity in uncertain times.
​
It’s a funny, fast-paced coming-of-age tale, with a contemporary pop-rock score that is "full of energy and detail".

LUNA THE MUSICAL
Having enjoyed the movie since its release in 2007, we began to imagine what a 'Juno' musical might look like. Over the course of a few writing sessions, a short song cycle was created, and local performers were drafted in to record demos.
Extracts from the demos were shared on social media, with mixed feedback commending the songwriting and performance, but arguing that it didn't capture the distinctive, intimate sound or feel of the movie.
Soon after, we were shocked by the devastating news that the Supreme Court had overturned Roe v Wade. Suddenly, the story felt like it needed adapting to the present day, and it needed to reflect the struggles experienced by teenagers across the US right now. "Luna the Musical" was born; with original characters, dialogue, and music.
As a company we are constantly striving to make musical theatre accessible, and this informed our decision to record a performance of "Luna The Musical" which theatre fans could affordably stream over the Christmas period, from the comfort of their living rooms.
The audience and critical response was outstanding, and resulted in concert performances at The Other Palace & Wales Millennium Centre this year. We continue to be amazed by the love and support we have experienced so far, and have more exciting developments to bring you in 2023, with our talented cast and crew!
